Day 1: Hanoi: Arrival:
Welcome to Hanoi, the capital city of Vietnam. Upon arrival, you will be greeted by your local tour guide, transfer to your hotel in downtown. In the afternoon, visit Ba Dinh Square – the biggest square in Hanoi where all the biggest cultural, political events of the cities, especially demonstrations, take place. Visit the Complex of Ho Chi Minh including Ho Chi Minh Mausoleum (from outside only as it closes in the afternoon), Ho Chi Minh’s house-on-stilts, his fish pond and the One-Pillar Pagoda. Then, the Temple of Literature which is considered as the first university of Vietnam. Later, have an overall view of the capital by cyclo in 1 hour, which wanders around the Old Quarter of Hanoi and the Hoan Kiem Lake (the “Sword” Lake). From here wandering on the narrow streets of the Old Quarter to experience the daily life of the local people. Transfer back to your hotel. Overnight at in Hanoi. (Note: Early check in is not included and subject to hotel availability)
Day 2 Hanoi – Cat Cat village – Sapa:
After breakfast and check out of your hotel and get ready by 07:00-07:30am to be picked up by bus at your hotel in the Old Quarters area and depart from Hanoi for the mountain town of Sapa (Bus ticket included). The drive will take you around 5.5 hours, but the scenery along the way is sure to be breathtaking. You’ll pass through lush green hills, towering mountains, and traditional villages. Upon arrival in Sapa, leave your heavy luggage at the hotel and proceed for lunch at your own arrangement. Check in the hotel. Later in the afternoon, you will visit Cat Cat village, a black H’mong village located at the foot of Fansipan Peak. You’ll trek down to the valley to the waterfall where the French built a Hydraulic Power Station. Your guide will tell you about the local culture and daily life as we explore the village. In the evening, it’s your free time time for your shopping and walking around Sapa night market. Overnight in Sapa. (B)
Day 3 Sapa-Love waterfall-Mt Fansipan-Sapa :
After breakfast, you will transfer to Love Waterfall, one of the most beautiful waterfalls in Sapa. The path to the waterfall is a zigzag of red soil, lined with fragrant flowers. As you hike , you’ll be treated to stunning views of the surrounding mountains and valleys. When you reach the waterfall, you’ll be amazed by its beauty. The water cascades down from a height of nearly 100 meters, creating a thunderous roar. The mist from the waterfall creates a magical atmosphere, and you’ll feel like we’re in a different world. The Love Waterfall is a beautiful and romantic place, and it’s the perfect place to learn about the legend of love. Later in the day, drive to Sun Plaza Sapa Station to take the Muong Hoa Mountain Train. This train is a unique way to see the stunning scenery of the Muong Hoa Valley. As you ride, you’ll be treated to views of forested mountains, terraced rice paddies, and blue skies buffered by thick white clouds. Upon arrival at the Fansipan Legend Cable Car Station, proceed to take the cable car ride. This system has been recognized with 02 world records – the most extended three-line cable car system in the world (6292.5 meters) in 2016, and it offers stunning views of the surrounding mountains. Ride up to an altitude of 2,800 meters, and then take a short hike to the peak of Fansipan, the Roof of Indochina. At the top of Fansipan, you’ll visit the spiritual cultural complex, which is home to many Buddha statues. you’ll also take some time to enjoy the panoramic views of the surrounding mountains and valleys. After that, you’ll take the cable car back down to the valley, and drive back to hotel. Overnight in Sapa. (B)
Day 4: Sapa:
After breakfast, the day is free at leisure or shopping on your own at Sapa market. at Sapa market. Check out from your hotel. After that, pick up by shuttle bus around 02:00pm to drive back to Hanoi (Bus ticket IS included). Check-in the hotel and stay overnight in Hanoi. (B)
Day 5: Hanoi – Ha Long Bay (Overnight Cruise):
After breakfast, around 8:00-9:00, your bus driver and tour guide will pick you up from the hotel, drive across the Red River delta and reach the coast a little before noon. Embark on a beautifully crafted junk for an overnight cruise in the legendary seascape of Ha Long Bay. Once on board, you are served a delicious seafood-based lunch, while the surrounding limestone outcrops make for a truly magical setting. In the afternoon, you will reach a less travelled area where you will devote ourselves to pure relaxation. The program is not fixed and depends on the time of the year and weather, but there will be an opportunity to visit a cave as well as explore a floating village or do a little bit of kayaking over the course of these 2 days. End the day on the sundeck as the sun sets on this magical seascape. This evening, you can enjoy an aperitif or attend a cooking demonstration before dinner. Overnight in a comfortable private cabin with an en-suite bathroom. (B, L, D)
Day 6: Ha Long Bay – Hanoi:
For those early birds, start the day with a proposed Tai Chi session, while tea and coffee are served as the sun rises and illuminates the surrounding seascape. We then continue our exploration of the bay. Upon returning to the boat, check-out of your cabin and enjoy a light brunch while cruising back to the pier. We disembark and transfer back to Hanoi. Overnight Stay in Hanoi. (B)
Day 7: Hanoi:
After breakfast, today you are free for leisure & shopping until transfer to Airport for departure. (B)
