7 Nights Classic Vietnam

Day 1: Hanoi (Arrival): Welcome to Hanoi, the capital city of Vietnam. Upon arrival, you will be greeted by your local tour guide, transfer to your hotel in downtown. In the afternoon, visit Ba Dinh Square – the biggest square in Hanoi where all the biggest cultural, political events of the cities, especially demonstrations, take place. Visit the Complex of Ho Chi Minh including Ho Chi Minh Mausoleum (from outside only as it closes in the afternoon), Ho Chi Minh’s house-on-stilts, his fish pond and the One-Pillar Pagoda. Then, the Temple of Literature which is considered as the first university of Vietnam. Later, have an overall view of the capital by cyclo in 1 hour, which wanders around the Old Quarter of Hanoi and the Hoan Kiem Lake (the “Sword” Lake). From here wandering on the narrow streets of the Old Quarter to experience the daily life of the local people. Transfer back to your hotel. Overnight at in Hanoi. (Note: Early check in is not included and subject to hotel availability)

Day 2: Hanoi – Ha Long Bay (Overnight Cruise): After breakfast, your bus driver and tour guide will pick you up from the hotel, drive across the Red River delta and reach the coast a little before noon. Embark on a beautifully crafted junk for an overnight cruise in the legendary seascape of Ha Long Bay. Once on board, you are served a delicious seafood-based lunch, while the surrounding limestone outcrops make for a truly magical setting. In the afternoon, you reach a less travelled area where you will devote yourselves to pure relaxation. The program is not fixed and depends on the time of the year and weather, but there will be an opportunity to visit a cave as well as explore a floating village or do a little bit of kayaking over the course of these 2 days. End the day on the sundeck as the sun sets on this magical seascape. This evening, you can enjoy an aperitif or attend a cooking demonstration before dinner. Overnight in a comfortable private cabin with an en-suite bathroom. (B, L, D)

Day 3: Halong Bay-Hanoi-Da Nang: For those early birds, start the day with a proposed Tai Chi session, while tea and coffee are served as the sun rises and illuminates the surrounding seascape. Then, continue exploration of the bay. Upon returning to the boat, check-out of your cabin and enjoy a light brunch while cruising back to the pier. Disembark and transfer back to Hanoi. Take a private transfer without guide to the airport. Leave Hanoi for Danang. Landing at Da Nang International Airport, you are greeted upon arrival and driven to your hotel. Check in and Overnight stay in Da Nang. (B)

Day 4: Danang – Cam Thanh coconut village – Hoian Ancient Town: After breakfast, transfer to visit Cam Thanh village and Bay Mau coconut forest. Here you have chance to experience the traditional way of life. Take a bamboo basket boat tour through the coconut groves, learn how to paddle a traditional boat and try your hand at catching fish and shrimp using traditional techniques. Relax in the peaceful countryside by simply sit back and enjoy the views. Learn about traditional handicrafts by watching local artisans weave baskets and mats using coconut leaves and other natural materials. You can even try your hand at making your own. In the afternoon, after transfer to Hoi An Ancient Town, you will be immersed in a magical world of Oriental feel. Walk over the Japanese Bridge, visit Chinese Assembly halls, and explore ancient houses. You can also listen to folk music at old club-houses or stroll into the market by Thu Bon River. Here, you may feel the same inspiration as artists who have found the rooftops of Hoi An to be a source of inspiration. The rest of the time is free for shopping and exploring the town on your own. Later drive back to Danang. Overnight stay in Danang. (B)

Day 5: Da Nang – Ba Na Hills – Da Nang: After breakfast, transfer to Ba Na hills area where your cable car transfer will be waiting to take you up to an altitude of 1487m above sea level. This is the second longest cable car in the world. On a visit to Ba Na hills, you will be able to enjoy visits to an ecological park, a theme park, a pagoda, and a mock French village (not including Wax Museum). Accompanied by your tour guide, you can walk the “Golden Bridge” – the pedestrian walkway offering tourist’s uninterrupted views of the majestic landscape beneath. Next you will have some free time to explore the park some more, discover the games and other entertainment areas. Spend more time to relax at your preference then make your way back to the cable car to venture back down the mountain for transfer to hotel. Overnight in Da Nang. (B)

Day 6: Da Nang – Ho Chi Minh City: After breakfast, Transfer to to Danang airport. Embark on your flight to Ho Chi Minh city (not included), the big metropolis of the South. You are greeted upon arrival and driven to your hotel in the city centre, historically called Saigon. Overnight in Ho Chi Minh city. (B)

Day 7: Ho Chi Minh City: Full Day Cu Chi Tunnels and half day Saigon city tour: After breakfast, you will picked up from your hotel and drive ti Cu Chi (60 kms – 1.5 hours) the network of over 200 km of tunnels became legendary when they played a vital role in the war. In their heyday, the tunnels were functioning underground cities, including numerous trap doors, specially constructed living areas, storage facilities, weapons factories, field hospitals, command centers, and kitchens. After a short introduction video showing how the tunnels were constructed, you will have a chance to crawl into a short section of the tunnels to feel the oppressive narrowness and heat inside. Experience the thrill of firing an M15, AK-47, and carbine rifle at the National Defense Sports Shooting Range (at guests own extra cost). This is your chance to get a taste of what it’s like to be a soldier in a war zone. With the help of experienced instructors, you’ll learn how to handle these powerful weapons and how to shoot them safely. Later transfer for your city Ho Chi Minh City tour visit to the War Remnants Museum, which documents the Vietnam War in graphic detail. The museum’s exhibits are both harrowing and thought-provoking, and they provide a valuable glimpse into one of the most destructive wars in history. Next visit the Reunification Palace formerly the Independence Palace of the South Vietnamese president. The palace was stormed by tanks on April 30, 1975, marking the end of the Vietnam War. Today, the palace has been preserved in its original state, and it’s a fascinating glimpse into a bygone era. We end our day with a walk through the city center, where we’ll see some of Ho Chi Minh City’s most iconic landmarks, such as City Hall, the Opera House, Notre Dame Cathedral (view from outside only), built between 1877 and 1883, and the colonial-styled Central Post Office. We’ll also visit Ben Thanh Market, a bustling marketplace where you can find souvenirs, handicrafts, and local delicacies. (Flexible/ If have enough time). (B)

Day 8: Ho Chi Minh City: After breakfast, today you are free for leisure & shopping until transfer to Airport to departure. (B)

Terms and Conditions

All quotations provided by Trip Away Travels are subject to availability of hotel rooms/cruise cabins, services and/or flights at the time of processing the reservation. At the time of reservation, the prices might change without prior notice.
All services provided by Trip Away Travels are subject to full realization of payment before departure. If payment is made by cheque, the Package/ tour component/vouchers will be delivered only after realization of cheque.
Trip Away Travels has right at any time and for any reason:
(a) To cancel a tour package/tour component before the date of departure and if it does so, its liability shall be limited to refunding all the money paid by the Tourist, towards the tour package / tour component.
(b) To amend, alter or withdraw any tour, holiday, excursion or facility, it has advertised or published, or to substitute a hotel of similar class if it is deemed advisable or necessary. In either case Trip Away Travels shall not be liable for any damages, additional expenses or consequential loss suffered by the Tourist/Group.
No person, other than Trip Away Travels, in writing has authority to vary, add, amplify or waive off any description, representation, terms and conditions set forth herein or in brochure of Trip Away Travels, or other terms & conditions regarding tour booked by the Tourist with Trip Away Travels.
In the event of Trip Away Travels exercising its right to amend or alter any tour advertised in their brochure or any other media after such tour or holidays has been booked the Tourist shall have right: (a)To continue with the tour or holiday as amended or altered. (b)To accept any alternative tour or holiday which Trip Away Travels may offer. In neither of the above cases shall Trip Away Travels be liable to the Tourist/Group for any damages, additional expenses and consequential loss suffered by the Tourist/Group.
Trip Away Travels shall in no circumstances whatsoever be liable to the Tourist/Group: (a)Any death, personal injury, sickness, accident, loss, delays, increased expenses or consequential damages by any misadventure or otherwise caused. (b)Any act, omission or default of any hotelier, carrier, travel component supplier or other person or by any servant or agent employed by the travel component supplier who may be engaged or concerned in the provision of accommodation, refreshment, carriage facility or service for the Tourist/Group, howsoever caused. In this clause the expression “however caused” includes negligence on the part of any person.
No liability on the part of Trip Away Travels arising in any way out of this contract in respect of any tour, holiday or excursion facility shall exceed the total amount paid or agreed to be paid for the tour, holiday, package/ tour component or excursion, and shall in no case include any consequential damages or additional expenses whatsoever.
The prices quoted by Trip Away Travels in its brochures / quotation are in US Dollars or equivalent in foreign currency (local currency of the foreign country / countries being visited). Trip Away Travels reserves the right to amend these prices in case of currency fluctuation and changes in various rates of exchange, Holiday, Special Event or Peak Season surcharges and/or fuel cost before departure, govt. levies / duties, and to surcharge accordingly. All such increases in price must be paid for in full.
It is the responsibility of the Tourist/Group to check and hold valid travel documents like passport and Visa till the end of the tour. In case any travel document like visa is refused, expires or is cancelled by the authorities, the tour participant will have to meet all the contingencies arising therefrom and to meet all expenses consequential thereto. The Company will have no responsibility whatsoever in respect of the above matters.
Grant of visas is a sole discretion of the consulate. Incase visa is not granted by the authorities; the applicable cancellation fee/service charge will be charged. Even visa fee is non-refundable. The cancellation and refund policy of the company will be applicable on the amount paid for the complete tour package in case of visa not granted.
The Cost of Ticket does not include any Insurance Premium. The Tourist/Group will have to pay any such premium at their own cost.
All tour programmes and packages/ tour components are subject to laws, rules and regulations. Trip Away Travels will have no responsibility in respect of any condition brought about by any such laws, etc., or due to act of God.
Any complaint by the Tourist (including complaint on behalf of passengers of the Group submitted by the Tourist) in connection with or arising out of the tour must be brought to the notice of Trip Away Travels in writing within seven (07) days from the end of the tour. No claim or complaint made thereafter shall be entertained in any circumstances. No individual complaint of passenger of the Group shall be entertained directly and therefore same must be made only by The Tourist who is a leader of the Group.
All claims, disputes and litigation relating to the tours arranged by the Company shall be construed according to current Indian laws only and shall be subject to jurisdiction of courts in Delhi only.
Check in / Check out. Most hotels worldwide observe 1400-1600 Hrs. as Check-in time & 1000-1200 Hrs. as Check out time. If the Tourist/Group arrival is before or departure is after the normal check-in or check-out time, Trip Away Travels is not responsible for additional charges levied by the hotel or travel component supplier and such charges are to be settled by the Tourist/Group directly with the hotel or travel components supplier.
Trip Away Travels will not be liable to any passenger for refund, compensation or claim for shortage of tour days or for cancellation, postponement or re-routing of any particular scheduled transport service due to any reasons including fog. The rules in respect of cancellation charges or refund will be applicable as given at the time of booking the tour. The tickets are issued, subject to conditions herein.
Trip Away Travels does not hold any responsibility for any purchases or shopping done by the customer at their own cost and will while he/she is on tour organized by the Company.
Trip Away Travels does not hold any responsibility for any extra services directly purchased by the customer from the Company’s vendor while customer is travelling on the package tour over and above the services purchased from the Company.
